Conclusion Questions:

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in Adobe illustrator. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools, shapes, and keyboard commands as possible.
The first thing I did was download the image of the practice and watched the videos on how to use the different shapes. I clicked the rectangle tool and traced over the original robot and made sure it was the same size and dragged it into place. Next, I used the dot in the inside of the shape to curve the edges, I did this or every shape and grouped each section like the arms and legs so I can move them together. After I finished my practice robot I moved on to my robot. I made a new artboard and started my robot. I look online and used different details from different robots that I liked and tried to make something similar to them I used the different shape tool and put them together then I chose the fill for each shape. This helped me create my robot.

2. What are vector graphics? How do they differ from raster graphics? Give an example of how you would use each type of graphic?
Vector Graphics are points that create lines that scalable images. Vector Graphics are different from Raster Graphics because using raster graphics can be useful to create images if you make the images you have created bigger the images will get distorted and show all the different pixels. For example, if you were to make a logo that would change sizes you would want to your vector design so when you zoom it won't get pixelated.

3. In addition to Raster Vs Vector graphics, what are at least 3 major similarities and differences between Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator?
One similarity between Abobe Photoshop and Illustrator is that they both use many of the same tools. Another similarity is the layout of all the tools and layers. They are both used to create designs and many other things. They have a lot of similarities but they also have many differences as well. For example, photoshop is raster-based which uses pixels to create images. While Illustrator works off of vectors which are points used to create lines. Another difference is that with Illustrator you are able to change the shape and size of the images without the images getting distorted while photoshop can't because it would get pixelated. They can also be used for different reasons because of their differences where the illustrator is better for logos and photoshop is better for editing and photography.

4. Based on the learning target, "Interpret and explain terminology and practices specific to the graphic design sector by illustrating a Robot using 5 essential Ai skills such as creating artboards, drawing shapes, combining shapes, changing colors and using the pen tool " what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.
Based on the learning target I believe I Exceeded it because I have learned new skills that will be useful to create new projects by creating new artboards, drawing shapes, combining shapes changing colors of shapes, and using the pen tool. I hope to be able to create new projects by incorporating these new skills.
