Conclusion Questions 
1. What book did you decide to redesign the cover for? Why did you choose this book? 
I chose to redesign The Grimm Brothers' retelling of Cinderella. I chose this book because one of my favorite movies growing up was the Disney version of Cinderella. After reading the Grimms brother version I liked how endings were a lot different


2. What parts of the plot did you use as inspiration for your book cover design?
A part in the Grimms brothers retelling that gave me inspiration where the different obstacles that cinderella had to overcome. This part of the book help shows that we can overcome all the different obstacles that life gives us.


3. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in photoshop. Use complete sentences.​ Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes, and keyboard commands as possible. 
I started off by looking for cinderella's inspiration. I found a lot of girls in ball gowns and decided to use them. I clipped different images that represented different events in the story. I looked for a text front that would look magical to represent the magic in the story and clipped silver images. I changed the different effects on each image to make sure they all fit together.

4. What was the easiest and what was most challenging part of creating your cover?
The most challenging part of creating my own cover was deciding what I wanted my book cover to look like and having to find images that would help my idea become possible. The easiest part was already knowing how to use my previous skill in photoshop to help create my book cover.

5. Based on the learning target, "Students will redesign a cover for a famous book that appeals to a modern literacy audience by developing, proposing, and refining artistic ideas, plans, prototypes, and production processes for media arts productions.  " What level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding)? Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.
I believe that I exceeded the learning target because I developed, proposed, and refined artistic ideas, planned, made prototypes, and produced a book cover for a well-known story in a modern way. I followed these steps to create a new book cover that can be put on a book and be sold.
